To the people of Lucas Film:

Hello and greetings from the Acolyte fandom. Yes, we are still here and we still have hope that it is not too late for change. In the months since the decision was made to cancel the Acolyte, the fandom has not only remained but grown. The Acolyte, in spite of the hate lobbed against it, has still managed to remain in the top ten of most watched shows on Disney + and new data from Parrot Analytics indicate the show is still very much in demand with markets outside of the US. As a member of the audience, I know it is not easy creating and running a TV series. But I also know that if a studio is committed to a project, then audiences will be committed too.

The Acolyte has managed to garner a devoted fanbase. There are cosplayers, artists and fanfiction writers who still continue to create for a show they dearly love. Star Wars is a narrative about people who, in spite of impossible circumstances, never give up hope. Yes, I know the voices of online rage farmers are loud and terrible but they are not the true voice of the fandom. The studio has a splendid opportunity here to show that the voices of love are far louder than to voices of hate.
